Last weekend we hosted the Laguna Charity Auction at the “My Sunshine Coast Money Expo”. I am thrilled to be able to report we managed to raise over $4500 for charity on the day. Congratulations to the lucky bidders, as well as huge thanks for your generous support!
This weekend we are at it again, raising money for the Red Cross at the Noosa Triathlon. The Laguna Triathlon sausage sizzle last year raised over $1800 dollars for the Red Cross. Our Noosa Parade office is perfectly situated to enjoy the view and the excitement of the racing, being so close to the finish line, so once again we are donning our BBQ aprons and cooking up 600 sausages to feed the masses! Come down for a super delicious sausage sanger, a coffee, or a cold drink and enjoy the action. The roads close early so make sure you check the paper for the access times as well as the best place to park. Another big thanks from us goes to our generous suppliers who assist with keeping the expenses down and the proceeds going into the collection tins – Coastline produce, Riverside Fruits, and Tewantin Country Meats. Last year we managed to forget the tongs, but the trusty cooking skills of Denis Ashcroft and Peter Desbrow saved the day. It is shaping up to be a fabulous day Sunday, I am wondering how many runners, swimmers and cyclists we can lure from racing to our tables with the sizzling aroma of delicious sausages…..
