Traditionally this time of year is an active time for sales as well as holidays, more people seem to be moving, renovating or listing their properties for sale. Even the hardware stores see a busy trade, as the home handymen get ready for Christmas entertaining.
The general consensus amongst the agents here at Laguna, who meet weekly to compare notes, is that a shift is occurring the market. There are definitely more buyers than properties available to show them! For the past 12 – 18 months we have been reporting a buyers market, now we are seeing early and promising signs of the swing to a sellers market. One of the causes is the increased activity in the Brisbane and Southern property arenas.
Statistics on growth in both yields and prices are granting many more people the opportunity to realize their dream and relocate to this beautiful area.
