Inside Property

Busy Start to the New Year

The first weeks of 2008 have seen excellent activity in the local property market. Some of our agents had scarcely had time to draw breath, with contracts on properties

being signed from late Christmas Eve right through to the present. It has been the busiest start to the year for selling real estate in recent memory. The retail and restaurant business in Noosa is also reporting strong trade, the wet weather has not dampened the enthusiasm of the holidaymakers or locals. Noosa was one of the few beaches that did not close, enjoyed by swimmers and surfers capitalizing on a healthy swell on the points. On New Years Day our lifestyle and property magazine went into 22, 000 newspapers across the district, we have had a phenomenal public reception, a lot of enquiry as a result. If you haven’t got your copy, you can collect one from our Noosaville, Noosa Heads or Tewantin office. We are also starting to see some of the higher end waterfront properties shift, in particular homes that have been on the market for a longer period of time. We currently have a wait list of buyers who are willing to pay healthy sums for ’that special Noosa lifestyle’. This includes everything from sleek modern residences to renovators with potential for profit. If you are interested in selling your property call us for an obligation free appraisal and market analysis.

Till next week
