land agent and auctioneer, acted for us during the recent sale of our property in Mooloo, near Gympie, Queensland. Paul acted in a totally professional way throughout the selling process, acting as a persuasive advocate for the property and dealing most diplomatically with a fussy and indecisive purchaser. We have bought and sold properties on nine previous occasions and there is no doubt that Paul is by far the best agent we have dealt with. We found Paul to be a very kind and genuine person in every way. He is personable, approachable, trustworthy and reliable, and with a good sense of humour. He consistently maintained a positive approach and remained calm and positive, even during difficult times during the sale process. He was never 'pushy' and we always had the feeling that he was working with us as a partner. He was always available for discussion re the sale, quickly returned phone calls and emails, and provided daily feedback on the reactions of potential buyers, new advertising approaches etc. During open homes we were able to observe that he was also excellent in dealing with potential purchasers, listening to and understanding their requirements while giving accurate and positive descriptions of the property. When we first contacted Paul he was quick to appreciate the many desirable aspects of the property and developed a genuine interest in it and in presenting it in the best light to potential buyers. Unlike some agents, he did not overvalue the property, but suggested a realistic marketing price and effective marketing strategy. Paul is a creative and excellent writer and produced sophisticated and outstanding advertising copy. He used a variety of advertising media, especially newspapers but also including the internet (e.g., the web site realestate.com.au), to great effect and continued to try new marketing avenues. He was able to have our property showcased in the Gympie Times Property Press, with a front page photo, and this was instrumental in attracting a large number of interested viewers, including the eventual purchaser. Paul was very patient and diplomatic in dealing with the purchaser and the sale eventually proceeded very smoothly. There is no doubt in our minds that Paul is the 'ideal' land agent. We were very lucky to have dealt with him and can recommend him unreservedly to anyone wishing to sell real estate. More than this, we are proud to say that we now regard him as a valued friend.
